Preface: I know next to nothing about Extended.
Are any of these ideas viable in Extended: - anything with Reveillark - some combination of Sanity Grinding/Archive Trap with a crapload of counters - some kind of land-destruction

Hmm...that's definitely a good place to start.
Based on my limited knowledge of the format, I would say that Sacred Foundry should probably find its way into this list. Chrome Mox could power out some turn 2 LD.
The Baneslayers and World Quellers seem a little out of place. Avalanche Riders sound like a 4-of. Fulminator Mage could also come in handy here.
Maybe instead of adding white, we could add in blue for Spreading Seas or Boomerang or some counters.
EDIT: Apparently, there's a lot of good blue land-denial cards out there: - Boomerang - Eye of Nowhere (sorcery-speed Boomerang) - Sea's Claim - Spreading Seas - Convincing Mirage

One more random card that would be really fun to abuse in Extended: Spellweaver Helix. I remember that we saw a really neat deck involving Spellweaver Helix, Life from the Loam, and Primal Command at the one Extended PTQ that we went to last year, and it looked like a fun list. I saw a Grixis list here that looked like the start of a really cool idea, using cheap Retrace cards and really big spells to imprint, plus the Hedron Crab mill strategy to fill up the graveyard. forums.starcitygames.com/viewtopic.php?t=321140Obviously, this deck would fall prey to any anti-Dredge hate cards, but it might still be a good idea.

It's a possibility, that helix deck you saw last year was what Adrian ran in Minnesota (when him, Karl, and I drove up there). The problem is that it lost the cycling lands from onslaught, but there's still a chance of getting stuff working if you can make sure the deck is controllish enough.
I think the first decks that should be proxied up though are Rubin/Kibler Zoo, Dredge, Dark Depths, and Scapeshift. The most important thing in extended in the early season is being familiar with your opponents, once that is established the format is relatively easy to deal with. I have 4 Scapeshift btw if anyone wants to run that deck (picked them up for $0.50 a while ago just in case they got popular).

Im gonna proxie things up. How is everyone for tuesday for testing I'm actually fine with it - Standard isn't really all that exciting for me right now, and Extended offers a chance to dip into a much bigger card pool and really get creative in terms of deck-building.

I'm most likely still going to go to Standard on Tuesday if at all. I just enjoy that format more and would rather plan 1-2 solid days for extended testing when it gets closer to tourney time.

I'll run with the scapeshift. Largely becuase I'm not feeling too creative right now and there's a list to start with already.
