This might be just a pipe dream, but I'm thinking about the possibility of a Valakut deck in Extended. Aside from the obvious upgrades at the land positions (Stomping Ground, Sacred Foundry, Blood Crypt, Steam Vents), there's also the possibility of adding in lots of other cards (listed below).
I've read up on some of the combo deck ideas with Scapeshift, and I think it would be really cool to try something like John did with Extended Elves last season, where he made people think he was playing combo and then just dropped some Overruns FTW. I think faking combo Valakut and just ramping instead might be fun to try.
