The results of the first Modern Daily event on MTGO are here: www.wizards.com/Magic/Digital/MagicOnlineTourn.aspx?x=mtg/digital/magiconline/tourn/2739320- Quite a diverse format so far. There are a lot of different ideas on display. - The biggest player in the room is the 12-post deck. This is the new deck that all of the pros are talking about and is going to continue to be a major player for a long time. - Other decks that made a consistant showing were Affinity and some kind of Twin combo involving Kiki-Jiki/Spinter Twin plus Deceiver Exarch/Pestermite. - RDW made its usual "keep the rest of the field honest" appearance. - There's a RG Shamans list that went 4-0. I've played with this deck before and it's pretty wild, but a lot of fun. It's definitely something that NO ONE will expect to play against, so that gives the pilot a unique advantage. Also, note the complete lack of any fetches or shock-lands. This means that the deck is considerably cheaper to acquire IRL than something which might run a full set of Hallowed Fountains at $30-40 apiece or more. EDIT: I just priced out that RG Shamans list on mtgotraders.com and it comes in at about 33 tickets, including 12 tickets for a set of Obstinate Baloth, which don't really fit, but are probably just a catch-all...

Shamans idea has been around, albeit the list is a little different from the ones that have been floating the interwebs. Definitely a list the piqued my interest as soon as I saw it.
I like the Pod list too that went 4-0, I'd make changes to it but it's cool to see Pod "Getting there" in modern.
Lots of cool data from this and I figured a twin/kiki list would show up, that just seemed way to obvious a deck not to have included.
