I gotta stop looking at eBay stuff on my phone - it doesn't display the person's profile very well, hence I missed that whole part.
New question: I have a full set of all 40 shocks from original Ravnica block (minus one or two Breeding Pools). With the upcoming new sets about to be released, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to use mine to get some more Legacy stuff, and then just pick up replacements with the new set. Thoughts?

I feel like while that's a great idea you should have done it 3-6 months ago when prices were high. Haven't they come back down to earth now?

Yeah, the average price for a shock-land is about $20-25, down a little bit from when Modern first got popular (blue shocks were peaking at about $35 back then).

Considering a new trade offer for my MP Underground Sea and/or my 3 MP Taigas. Highlights of his list include: - 1 SP Tundra - 3 Vindicate - 1 Chain Lightning - 2 Counterbalance - 1 Virtue's Ruin - 4 Submerge - 2 Swords to Plowshares
I also asked if he had an extra Tropical Island or any extra Polluted Deltas.

I've been offered three cards of my choice for a bunch of smaller non-rare lands on MTG Salvation. Basically, I can have any combination of 3 Thragtusks and/or Sphinx's Revelations. I currently have a set of foil Thragtusks (which I'd love to sell) and one non-foil Thragtusk that I'd like to keep. I have no Revelations at this time. What should I go for?

First off, you have a set of foil tusks? Daaaaaaaaamn.
Value wise Sphinx's is a much better proposition as it has a lot longer shelf life in standard and currently is worth $1-2 more. That said, thragtusk sees outside play in eternal formats and may have life in those formats in the future although it's always extremely rare for a five-drop.
Tough choice for me, both are largely standard cards and thragtusk can go in a lot more decks, but sphinxes revelations is basically one of the last few pieces I remember you needing for control.

I'd say go for the revelations. Tons of standard play, great edh card, and it might find a home in other formats somewhere along the line. Not to mention your set of foil tusks that you can use, should you feel the need.

I'd consider using both cards in EDH, and Thragtusk is currently in a few fringe Legacy decks (most notably the Nic Fit lists). Unfortunately, I would need quite a few more cards to play control, namely planeswalkers like Jace and Tamiyo, not to mention the fourth Revelation. I'd also like to sell the foil Tusks and just play with non-foil ones...I only bought the foil ones because they were at the price of non-foils.

Any ideas if Thragtusks are going to go up or down in the future (both short and long term)? I purchased two off an acquaintance at work (along with about another 150 rares).

If anything Chris they will go down since they are going to rotate in a few months (Aug/Sept2013). Not that they wont still see play in older formats but not nearly as much.
However, he still is arguably the best card in standard right now if you planned to use him
He also got reprinted in the event deck thus his current value of only about $10
