Despite my repeated attempts to quit this money pit, I've got too many friends here in Owatonna who keep dragging me to FNM. So here's roughly the results of last week's 32-man FNM: 1. G/W Humans 2. White weenie 3. G/W Humans 4. B/W tokens 5. G/W Humans 6. R/G Aggro 7. Mono-Black 8. G/W Humans (me) All humans must die! Only one or two people ever seem to show up with swords or Primeval Titans, so here's what I'm playing this week: Rolled Up Newspaper4 Doomed Traveler 2 Falkenrath Aristocrat 4 Faithless Looting 4 Arc Trail 4 Day of Judgment 3 Oblivion Ring 4 Intangible Virtue 4 Midnight Haunting 4 Lingering Souls 3 Elspeth Tirel 7 Plains 4 Mountain 1 Isolated Chapel 4 Clifftop Retreat 3 Dragonskull Summit 4 Shimmering Grotto 1 Vault of the Archangel SB: 3 Ratchet Bomb 4 Celestial Purge 4 Shrine of Loyal Legions 4 Nihil Spellbomb I'm pretty sure it can't beat a Thrun with SoWaP equipped, but I don't care. All it needs to do is plow through armies of creatures while getting enough momentum to win before the opponent can rebuild. It might even have a game against Delver for all I know. I've tested a couple games against aggro decks and they weren't close at all. I can't wait to pull this out tomorrow.

Interesting...if that's what your meta is like, I might suggest the mono-black Zombies list that Jasper has been piloting recently. Lots of aggressive one-drops, cheap removal, and Skirsdag High Priest gets pretty sick. He did a deck tech video on wizards.com a few weeks ago, and I don't think that list has changed much. You could theoretically splash blue for Images and Vapor Snags, or red for burn spells, but they were talking about that last night and didn't seem to favor it.
If you have your heart set on this list, I would ask why you aren't just running BW tokens. Mr. Uttke brought his list with him last night as well, and when he managed to draw more than one of his 25 lands, he was handing me my head pretty regularly.
Either way, I'd be interested to see how this performs. Have you considered Olivia Voldaren instead of the Aristocrat?

Jasper's deck was from PT: Honolulu, right? That did look pretty sweet. I'm not willing to invest too much in a deck, so I'll pass for now. I didn't play B/W tokens because I wanted to play a mid-range deck that punished people for playing aggro, no other reason, really. The deck did pretty well at FNM, losing to mono-G aggro who both games played T1 Young Wolf, T2 Strangleroot Geist into Primordial Ooze, Dungrove Elder, etc. My other loss was a close one to G/W Humans, who protected his Thalia so I couldn't play Day of Judgment. The decks I beat were also creature-heavy to varying degrees. If I would change anything, I'd try to make the mana-smoother, maybe even run Sphere of the Suns over Elspeth. I thought about Olivia, but she isn't resilient enough, and the Aristocrat's a fast clock with a pair of Spirits on the board. Double black is really hard to pull off, too. If I saw more Titans in the metagame, it would be more tempting.
