Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks for clearing that up.

Won an auction last night for 3 Lilianas, 4 promo BSZs, 4 promo Gravecrawlers, and 4 Geralf's Messengers for only $80 shipped. Might try to make this deck after all.

Took the above list to a 3-0-1 finish on Saturday. Below is a brief report of how things went: Round 1, vs. Evan playing Pox. - I don't have too many notes on this game, other than that I won both by finally sticking a Grave Titan. Round 2, vs. Daniel playing Maverick. - Game 1, he dropped an early Mother + Thalia, then a Thrun. I had 4 Forests and 2 Swamps, with a Deed, Doom Blade, and Liliana all in hand. I paid four to cast Deed, blew it for two on my turn, leaving him with Thrun and lands in play. He untaps and rips Green Sun off the top, gets a Scavenging Ooze, attacks with Thrun. I untap, peel a third Swamp off the top, Doom Blade the Ooze and use Liliana to get the Thrun. From there, it was an easy victory. - Game 2 was much easier. I Deed-ed away two Moms and something else, and since he didn't see my Tops, he didn't bring Krosan Grips in. Round 3, vs. Tony playing RUG Delver. - This is supposed to be a very good matchup for me, as my Vets give him nothing and I can play around his Wastelands relatively easy. - He also mulliganed a few times, which didn't help as I already have a lot more card advantage than he does, and I don't think he ever flipped a Delver. - Game 1, I just resolved more threats than he had answers for. - Game 2, we both got down to an empty hand, and I blew a Deed for one, leaving him with a Goyf in play and me with a Top on the top of my library. He attacked with the Goyf, and then dropped a second one. I then proceeded to draw the Maelstrom Pulse I already knew I had coming and totally blew him out. Round 4, vs Mike Smar playing UW Miracles. - Based on what I knew he was playing, I was pretty sure this would end badly for me, so I took the draw when he offered it. - This seems like a really bad matchup for me. My Vets help him just as much as they help me (he actually hard-cast two straight Force of Wills on me), and he has a lot of threats that are hard to answer (Entreat, Jace, Counterbalance), and he has removal that I can't really play around (Terminus). Maelstrom Pulse and Deed are pretty much my only outs, and even if I draw them, he still has the usual assortment of counters. - We ended up playing two games for funsies, and both games he stuck a Jace for quite a long time. Really not sure what I'm supposed to do to win this matchup. I think next time I'm going to try using the white version of this deck with Academy Rector and Recurring Nightmare, mostly just because Nightmare is awesome.

Here's a cool new deck that's done decent. Nic Shift (Jund colors), it's main thing is adding scapeshift/valakut combo. I'd likely move 1 GSZ to the board, add a bonfire to the board, and cut collective voyage and a carpet of flowers from the board. I do love how much flexibility GSZ and burning wish add to the deck. For example, if you're in late game mode with nothing going on but a ton of mana, you could burning wish for GSZ then cast it for eternal witness to get anything back. I think I'd cut a forest for a Dryad Arbor too. You get some insane hate too, like burning wish for pulverize, tsunami, or virtue's ruin. I'd be tempted to cut both other carpet of flowers for a cavern of souls and another hate sorcery.
Nic Shift
Creatures (15)
2 Eternal Witness 3 Huntmaster of the Fells 1 Primeval Titan 2 Thragtusk 4 Veteran Explorer 3 Wood Elves Lands (24)
5 Forest 3 Mountain 2 Swamp 3 Badlands 2 Bayou 1 Stomping Ground 4 Taiga 2 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle 1 Phyrexian Tower 1 Volrath's Stronghold Spells (22)
3 Sensei's Divining Top 3 Pernicious Deed 2 Bonfire of the Damned 4 Burning Wish 4 Cabal Therapy 4 Green Sun's Zenith 2 Scapeshift Sideboard
3 Carpet of Flowers 2 Phyrexian Arena 1 Collective Voyage 1 Damnation 1 Innocent Blood 1 Maelstrom Pulse 1 Pulverize 1 Reanimate 1 Scapeshift 1 Slaughter Games 1 Tsunami 1 Virtue's Ruin
Cheers

I've seen a few lists that look like this, and I must say that the Scapeshift combo is intriguing. It's probably nice to just randomly win a few games against non-blue players every once in awhile.
Damn, now I really need to get those Thragtusks.

So, I'm debating whether or not to run Jund or BUG versions of Nic Fit. The Jund version is cool because it has a Wish board (something I've never played with) as well as a Prime Time and a Scapeshift/Valakut combo (another thing I've never played with). Another perk is that if I play this deck, I can also build Esper Stoneblade at the same time.
On the other hand, the BUG version has Jace and Recurring Nightmare, and possibly Force of Will.
Thoughts?

I would probably go with BUG. Cause, you know, Jace.
