So, I have this Portugese foil Mindslaver that I'd really like to get some use out of in my Thada deck. However, I'm always hesitant to play it because the effect is generally frowned upon, and it's very easy to get a lock going with Academy Ruins.
So, the question I have for the group is this: Should I play Mindslaver in my Thada deck?

I used to run it, but cut it from all my decks a long time ago. I said I would never recur it infinitely. Then I did in a game because it was the "right" play to win. I didn't want to, but it was necessary to prevent the targeted player from swinging in for lethal damage if he ever got a turn again.
I just don't think it's a very social card. One activation is pretty much enough to destroy a single player's board, hand, and chances of staying in the game. That's fine in a competitive metagame. It's just not the kind of card I would use when playing with friends.
