I have Counterbalance, Jace, Trops, U-Seas, and Forces that are not currently in use. Not sure if I still have any Ancestral Visions or not, but they are like $3-4.
From the second list, I think I have a Bayou, 1 or 2 Deeds (depending on my Junk SB), and 4 Misty. The Bobs, Tops, and Deathrites are all currently in use.
@your list: There's a lot of cards I like in there...Strix, Shardless, Bob, Shaman, Force, Jace, Counter/Top...all very good cards. - What are your thoughts on cutting 1-2 Abrupt Decay for Maelstrom Pulse? - Most of the other BUG lists I've seen have some form of discard in them...why not here? - Assuming that the main-deck strategy revolves more around cascades and cantrips than counters and removal, is that what you were going for? - Thoughts on other non-Jace planeswalkers? Liliana is the first one that comes to mind, but I've also seen Garruk Relentless and Vraska make the occasional appearance. - This seems a little light on the removal. I don't care much for Ghastly Demise because there are a lot more black creatures right now, thanks largely to Deathrite Shaman, but maybe just a Doom Blade, or Dismember, or Innocent Blood? Even Diabolic Edict might not be the worst. - I'm guessing that Snapcasters were cut because this deck features a lot more permanents than instants/sorceries?

Whoops, forgot to put that there are 2 maelstrom pulses main. I didn't want to run discard because this deck is trying to go late game and they aren't good late game. Snapcasters are specifically awful to cascade into, plus not as good because of deathrite as well. In practice, the strixs act as removal against beaters, plus with all the card advantage and manipulation it makes abrupt decay show up a lot. It seems ok, but definitely want to test some more.

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense now. I'm assuming you can't flash back an Ancestral Vision with Snapcaster? The no-discard angle makes sense, but I still think I might shave one Abrupt Decay for some other removal spell...Demise/Dismember/Go for the Throat/whatever. Another list I ran into today that might be worth looking at: mtgpulse.com/event/11259#156418The pilot has two decent finishes posted on the mtgpulse site with virtually the same list. I would obviously replace Tarmogoyfs with either Deathrites or Oozes, but there are a lot of common cards between the two.

No, it doesn't have a mana cost so it can't be given one with SCM. So far in playtesting, against "fair decks" abrupt decay seems like the card I want most. It feels like I'd run 6-8 if I could.
I don't like Snapcasters because they're awful to cascade into and I only have Brainstorm at 1 mana slot (if I was running STP or Ghastly Demise etc I'd feel better about them). Goyfs are more agro/gy based then I want to be. I think Hymn stretches your mana base more then it's worth (and honestly I don't like it that much against most decks). I'd consider Deed MD except I'm trying to keep my curve low (for confidant and to keep the land count down) and how bad it is against combo. Visions has been less then impressive in testing for me; it's pretty good on T1 (though slow against some decks) and super awesome when you can set up the cascade and god awful the rest of the time. I did cut creeping tar pit and ancestral vision from the first version to add 2 wastelands (for utility lands). I'm definitely running a grindy version.
Cheers
