Yeah Nick and I would both need rides, we are both sans cars at the moment. I'm at my place on 9119 Waterside St Apt 203 in Middleton and he's off of Park Street. I'll get his address from him when I get a chance, probably make the best sense to pick him up and then pick me up because I'm on the way out of town towards baraboo.
I gotta talk to him again to see if he still has any interest, I'll post on here tomorrow

Pat, if you can pick up John + Nick, I can grab the other two in my car. Then we can all just meet at the shop.
I'll get more details on the where/when/what tonight or tomorrow.

So, just curious what guilds people are going with and why. If I can somehow make it to an event tomorrow, I want to have at least some idea of which one I should pick.

Nick can't make it, I'm still up for it if we can at least get 3 people to pat's car and keep the price around $5 per person for gas. Travis did you inquire with the shop on their price for the prerelease? I'm slightly less inclined if they are one of the groups overcharging at $30 since most in Madison are $25

Oh I'm also getting my car back fresh with new tires and power steering pump from the shop so that's an option too

If there's just five of us, we could probably try to squeeze into just one car (either mine or Pat's, I'm not picky).

That's fine with me if it is with everyone else. It sounds like it's You, Me, Pat, Scott, and Mike correct?
Also what time would we be leaving, etc, and how are we doin all that?

Yeah, that's the five of us. It was going to be Pat, Nick, John in one car however you guys did that, and me, Scott, Mike in the other car. Scott was going to meet me at my place, which is on the way in from Sun Prairie, and then we were meeting Mike at the credit union that our wives work at on University Ave.

lame.
Andrew, Mox Mania and I'm Bored are both $25. I'm on the westside so those are the shops I usually consider first these days, I can't stand playing at NWG, and I've lost most of my patience for Misty as well. The guy who owns Mox Mania is really nice and most of the people at their shop are agreeable too. I'm done going to places like Misty, Peg, and NWG where you get treated like second class citizens.
Travis if we do the five all in one car I'm good with the $30. What time you picking folks up or how we doing this? (I should probably be the last pickup since you can hop on 12 West to baraboo by my place)

I guess it's been a long time since I played at Misty in a sanctioned event. Other than the crowds, I've never really had a problem.

So...I never really bothered to map out everyone's locations until just now, and it looks like we should be able to swing by and pick everyone up on the way out of town.
Scott will be coming to my place at 8, then we'll head to Pat's house, then the U-Ave credit union, then John's place, and finally the shop.

I'm sorry you feel that way John. If you could go more in depth to why, I'll see what I can do about it (or if it's my fault do my best to change).
As for entry fee, we'd barely make any money at $25 after paying for extra staffing/product. Not sure if other stores just haven't done the math on it, though I'm sure with lower turnout you could likely do with staff on hand instead of having to get more. We'd do it if we could.
Cheers Evan
