So, I played in a Return to Ravnica PTQ this weekend. Sadly, I went 2-2 and dropped. But I'm curious what you thought of my pool (and did I build it right). It had a ton of high power cards, but spread the power across several colors that had little other support.

First thing to do is sort by all the rares (and pat yourself on the back for opening a Jace). I see the following: - Jace - Sphinx of the Chimes - Cyclonic Rift - Rakdos - Chromatic Lantern - Carnival Hellsteed
In other words, you have three straight blue rares and two Rakdos rares. Seems like a pretty clear-cut direction to take at that point. All you need is some removal and cheap bodies to throw under the bus until your big guns can come to play. Also, your green and white cards aren't very good.
Not sure if you had one or two Annihilating Fires (your first list says one, second list says two), but those are obvious.
The problem I see is that your Rakdos rares favor a more aggressive strategy, whereas your blue rares seem to play the control game a lot more. That division of strategy likely hurt you a little. I might have also tried to fit Inaction Injunctions in your list somewhere. Other than that, I don't see any problems with your choices.
