I think we'll see Planeswalkers now go through the roof in play value (especially ones with a solid -x ability). It reminds me of players burning Tolarian Academy back in the old days for a drop/tap/binned. On the SB rule, I think it's almost unneeded. It prevents casuals from getting game loss/DQ'ed at tournaments. About the only thing I see is some decks might want to add more cards to their main deck than they take out and have a transformational sideboard.

The sideboard rule is sweet. That doesn't just affect casuals, everyone makes that mistake from time to time although yes most competitive players routinely check it all. I'm more excited about the adding cards part, allowing you to play a lot of the same type of cards (allllll da burn speeeeeils)

Nevermind Jitte on Jitte, how about Jace on Jace battles in Legacy? One of the few ways that non-red players had to deal with Jace was to play their own Jace to cancel him out.

This was nearly the first thing I learned about tournament magic. Counting your SB also prevents stupid errors.

Sideboard errors have never tripped me up, but I can understand why it would suck to get a game loss over something like that. I have no complaint about this change at all.
Indestructible as a keyword makes sense. I always hated having to explain to people how it worked with things like humility. This clears up that confusion.
The Legendary and Planeswalker change ticks me off a little, simply because those rules provided an easy answer for a permanent some colors have a hard time interacting with. I also dislike that it will greatly increase the value of tuck effects in blue for EDH, since they can no longer just clone a general to remove it.
I do see some benefits though. You will no longer have to worry about sitting down at the table with two people playing the same commander and having to debate special rules. Blue can also now just clone a legend and actually get to use it.
The Legend rule has always been tricky. They changed it back with Kamigawa and there was initial discontent, but I think most people ended up liking it. I imagine this change will be an adjustment, but will ultimately be embraced.

We were talking about these rule changes during Legacy last night at Mox, and the more we talked about it, the more we realized that the legend rule is just going to make things really stupid. Cards like Mox Opal and Gaea's Cradle are going to get stupidly better, and the Jace/Jitte wars are also likely going to be pretty dumb. There was also a general consensus that the whole point of the word "legendary" was completely trashed by this rule.

Yeah...just a lot of really stupid interactions that you really shouldn't be able to do. I hope Wizards will realize the error of their ways and retract the legend rule.

The biggest impact I'm hearing on the Legacy end is with Cradle in elves, since it helps you keep the chain going while you're going off. Everything else is just Jace and LotV stupidness since each player can now have a copy in play.
